Nap Time…
When I was a kid I hated naps. Elizabeth hated going to sleep at night. Now that we have our own little guy in the house, our bad habits as kids are coming back to haunt us! Don’t get me wrong, sometimes our son goes to bed nice and quietly and has no problems…but sometimes when he doesn’t want to go to bed at night I look at Elizabeth and say “it’s all your fault!”
Right now I’m trying everything in my power to get him to take his regular 2pm nap. It’s not working! I’ve been trying for 45 minutes to get him to go to sleep…now it’s probably too late b/c he’ll be hungry again at 3:30 anyway. Oh well, you win some and you loose some. The other day Elizabeth “fought” him like this and she won. I’m pretty sure I’m loosing. When Elizabeth wins we sing, “I fought the mom and the mom won, I fought the mom and the mom won.” (That was a 70’s song in case you didn’t know!)…I think I hear crying……..
BTW, I just got him down at 3:05!!! Yessssss!!!!! Now he’ll actually sleep tonight!
